1. Booking & Payment

To secure your spot at a retreat, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total price is required at the time of booking. Guests may choose to pay in full upfront or pay the deposit, with the remaining balance due no later than one month before the retreat start date. If the final balance is not received by this deadline, your place may be forfeited and your deposit retained.

 

2. Cancellations & Refunds

All deposits are strictly non-refundable. The remaining balance is refundable only if you cancel at least one month before the retreat begins. Cancellations made within one month of the retreat start date are non-refundable in full. If Root Retreats cancels the retreat for any reason, all payments made (including deposits) will be refunded in full.

 

3. What’s Included

Your retreat package includes accommodation at the retreat venue, daily meals as outlined in the programme, workshops and group activities, excursions, and welcome gifts or retreat materials.

 

4. What’s Not Included

The retreat fee does not include flights, airport transfers (unless specified), personal spending money, snacks or meals outside the programme, travel insurance, or any additional activities or treatments not listed in the retreat package.

 

5. Health, Safety & Liability

By booking, you accept full responsibility for your health and wellbeing throughout the retreat. Root Retreats is not liable for any injury, illness, accident, or loss sustained during the retreat or while travelling to and from the venue. For your own protection, we strongly recommend arranging travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, or other unexpected events.

 

6. Minimum Numbers

Retreats will only run if at least 50% of available spaces are booked. If this minimum is not reached, Root Retreats reserves the right to cancel the retreat, in which case all payments made will be refunded in full.

 

7. Code of Conduct

Root Retreats is designed to be a supportive and inclusive environment. We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour negatively impacts the group experience. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

 

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, as Root Retreats Ltd is a UK-registered company.
